We are Loose Screws
Our motto, “Instituting Engineering One Loose Screw at a Time,” reflects a core value that has shaped our journey from the very beginning: sometimes, the screw has to be loose for the robot to work. While unconventional, this philosophy represents the essence of our growth. Through the highs and lows, we’ve discovered that perfection isn’t always necessary; often, it’s the imperfections that unlock the most innovative solutions.
We are committed to fostering a sense of belonging and growth among our team members, encouraging unconventional thinking in both engineering and team dynamics. This mindset aligns perfectly with our mission to make STEAM accessible to all and achieve our ultimate goal: competing at the world championship.
To operate efficiently and achieve our objectives, our team is organized into three specialized subteams—Build, Code, and Business—each led by a dedicated team lead, with overall guidance provided by our team captain. Together, we strive to turn challenges into opportunities and innovation into impact.
