FTC Team 22012, Loose Screws, is a high school robotics team dedicated to innovation, teamwork, and community involvement. As part of the FIRST Tech Challenge program, the team designs, builds, and programs robots to compete in complex challenges. Loose Screws is passionate about equipping students with valuable skills for success in STEM careers, while also fostering creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.

Beyond competition, the team focuses on engaging with their local community by mentoring younger students, spreading awareness about STEM opportunities, and inspiring others to explore science and technology. Known for their resilience, creativity, and sense of humor, Loose Screws embodies a spirit of determination and enthusiasm in everything they do.

Season Recap

2022-2023 PowerPlay

The PowerPlay challenge emphasized strategic gameplay, where teams scored points by placing cones on junctions and creating circuits. As their rookie season, FTC 22012 Loose Screws focused on developing their teamwork, strategic thinking, and technical skills. Despite being new, they achieved remarkable success, earning the 2nd Place Design Award and emerging as the Winning Alliance at League Champs allowing them to advance to the State Championship.
